Which Room at Hotel Royal Inn Suits Your Trip? A Simple Guide

Choose the Deluxe Double (Rs 1,800 for one guest, Rs 2,000 for two) for short solo or couple trips, the Triple Occupancy Room (Rs 2,500) for three guests, and the 1BHK Room (Rs 2,800) for two guests who want a kitchenette on a longer stay. Rates are per room, per night; reconfirm when booking.
How do you choose a room by trip type?
There are three room types at Hotel Royal Inn, and they suit different kinds of trips. The simplest way to choose is to ask three questions. How many people are staying? How many nights? Do you want to cook?
Please confirm anything not covered here with the reception. When in doubt, ask the reception on +91 88077 08681 or +91 88077 08682 before you book.
Our other posts go deeper on each room, with a full post for the Deluxe Double, the Triple Occupancy Room and the 1BHK Room. This one is a quick decision guide, organised by the kind of trip you are making instead of by room.
Travelling alone or as a couple for a few nights?
The Deluxe Double Room is built for this. It has a comfort double bed, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a cove-lit ceiling. The rate is Rs 1,800 per night for one guest and Rs 2,000 per night for two guests. That one-or-two pricing is useful, since a solo traveller does not pay the two-guest rate.
All rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The hotel also has a lift and 24-hour reception, which helps with late arrivals and early departures. The hotel is couple friendly.
This room does not have a kitchenette. If cooking matters to you, look at the 1BHK Room instead. For a trip of a few nights, many guests will not miss it, since the hotel has restaurant service and the area has plenty of places to eat.
If you are unsure, tell the reception how many people are travelling and for how long, and ask which room they would suggest. A short honest conversation usually leads to a better match than a guess from a screen.
Travelling as a family of three?
The Triple Occupancy Room has a comfort double bed and a single bed and costs Rs 2,500 per night for three guests. It suits parents with a child, a parent travelling with two adult children, or three friends or colleagues travelling together.
If you are comparing the cost with two rooms, one Triple Occupancy Room at Rs 2,500 is lower than two Deluxe Doubles at one-guest rates, which would come to Rs 3,600 a night. Whether one room is comfortable enough for your family is a personal call, so think about the length of the trip and how much time you will spend in the room.
The Triple Occupancy Room has no kitchenette, so plan meals accordingly.
Staying a week or more, and want to cook?
The 1BHK Room is the premium room, with a wide bed, a living-style layout and an in-room kitchenette with a stove and sink. It is priced at Rs 2,800 per night for two guests. Guests who want to prepare simple meals will find it the easiest room for a longer stay.
Longer stays often involve a hospital visit, a house hunt or a family visit. Cooking even one meal a day in the room reduces dependence on outside food and can ease the cost over several weeks. Ask the reception what cookware is provided before you shop.
If you plan a stay of a month or more, ask the hotel on the phone about any arrangement for longer stays. Please do not assume a monthly rate or a discount.
Remember that cooking is optional. Some guests in the 1BHK Room cook only breakfast and tea and eat out for the rest, and that still gives them a calmer routine.
What do all the rooms share, and how do you book?
Every room has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a comfort bed. The hotel has lift access and 24-hour reception with restaurant service. Check-in is at 1 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.
The hotel's own figures for the area are about 4 minutes on foot to Thousand Lights Metro, about 5 minutes to AG-DMS Metro, 8 to 9 minutes to Apollo Hospital on Greams Road and 8 to 12 minutes to the US Consulate General.
To book, call or WhatsApp +91 88077 08681 with your dates and the number of guests. Booking directly gets the best available rate. Please reconfirm the current rate and any applicable taxes at the time of booking.
How do the rooms compare for a week-long stay?
For a stay of seven nights, the Deluxe Double at the one-guest rate comes to Rs 12,600, at the two-guest rate Rs 14,000, the Triple Occupancy Room Rs 17,500 and the 1BHK Room Rs 19,600, before any taxes. These are simple multiplications of our nightly rates and do not include taxes, so please reconfirm the total when you book.
The 1BHK Room costs more per night but can save on food bills over a week if you cook some meals. Whether that works out cheaper depends on how much you cook and what you buy, so treat it as a rough comparison.
